The Next Coen Brothers Film?
George Clooney has stated that he’s going to star in the next Coen Film “Hail, Caeser”. According to Clooney “The star would have an idiot toga and a pencil mustache” and will complete the “trilogy of cowardly idiots” he’s made with Joel and Ethan. The story will follow a troupe of theater actors in the 1920′s putting on a play about ancient Rome. Some reports state this is already in pre-production, but they can’t begin shooting until after Clooney completes “The Good German” with Steven Soderberg.

I know Soderbergh was tied up with producing Dunces in New Orleans, but did they finish production before Katrina, and even so, are they going to release it? With this in mind, isn’t “The Good German” on hold for a while?

After ‘The Good German’ Clooney is scheduled to start shooting ‘Michael Clayton’ in NYC January 2006. That could delay this movie even more unless they alter Clooney’s schedule… Nice site, btw.
