Joel and Ethan’s next directorial effort is “Inside Llewyn Davis.”  The story of a singer songwriter in the 1960’s New York Folk music scene.   It is loosely based on Dave Van Ronk’s posthumously published memoir The Mayor of MacDougal Street. It stars Oscar Isaac as Llewyn, Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake, John Goodman, and F. Murray Abraham.  Here is the first official trailer.

  1. How do you get to be in a Coen Brothers film. I would be thrilled! I’ve been in several movies in the past, including playing Joe Pesci’s photo double in “JFK.”

  2. Yeah, how do you get to be in a Coen Brothers Film? I love their movies and I’m from SLP (bonus!)

  3. I must say that first, I took this film like an “ok one”. Then I thought about what there was of really special in this film and I thought nothing… And that is when I began to think that it is an extraordinary movie because even if there is no big action, this film has a lot of very good moment, especially with the music. So I thought that if a film like that can give me this”feeliing”, it is that for me it’s one of my favorite!!!!! Oscar Isaac’s so good!! And the other actors too!
    Very very cool!!
