A look at the cast of “A Serious Man”

Every day or so I’ll be posting a little info on a member of the cast of the Coen Brothers next film. Today we’re taking a look at Richard Kind.

I first saw him on the TV series Mad About You playing the husband of Jamie’s (Helen Hunt) friend. He starred in Spin City for the entire run of the show. Richard also appeared regularly on Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Though most recognized for his work in television he has appeared in several films in minor supporting roles including Stargate, Bewitched, and The Producers. He is close friends with George Clooney which may have something to do with his appearance in a major supporting role in A Serious Man
